I just wanted to post about some of the news/changes happening currently at Walt Disney World!

Magic Kingdom: Dream Along with Mickey show ended this past weekend after just over 10 years of the performance. Rumors of another show including the newer princesses (Tianna, Rapunzel, etc.) will be coming soon to the stage!

Epcot: Soarin' is still closed for refurbishment and is expected to open back up in July. Joy and Sadness are now available for meet and greets. The Frozen Ride in Norway is scheduled to open in the beginning of May.

Hollywood Studios: Toy Story Land previews can be found on the new construction walls that are covering the building area. Comparing the preview to the first one released last year, parts of the new Slinky rollercoaster have been taken away- and that is rumored to be so that the new land can be done by the end of 2017 early 2018. Star Wars Land is also rumored to have begun construction. There is a new Captain Phasma stormtrooper march that opens for the also new Galaxy Far, Far Away stage show in front of the Chinese Theater. The show displays many characters and scenes from the Star Wars series. Darth Vader has moved back to the Jedi Training Academy, and Kylo Ren is now the meet and greet in the Star Wars Launch Bay for the dark side. Chewbacca has remained the meet and greet for the rebel side.

Animal Kingdom: Rivers of Light construction is almost complete and park goers have posted many pictures of the floats and seating area. The rumored start date was the end of April, but as of today, has been pushed back to June 2016. This new date will include the Rivers of Light nighttime show, extended park hours, and a light show on the Tree of Life.
