Rope Dropping... What's the point?

This is a topic I urge anyone that is going to the parks to make a priority! For resort guests, they must take advantage of the rope drop because that is where you will get the shortest lines on the best rides! I recommend being at the parks 30-45 minutes before the park opens. This secures you a spot up front when the park opens and allows you almost all access to the major rides! A park you must rope drop is Hollywood Studios, so that you can make the mad dash on Toy Story Mania and literally walk right on. I also highly recommend booking a Tusker House reservation in Animal Kingdom for 8:15am (when the park opens at 9am) so that you can get into the park early, eat breakfast with the Fab Five, and then once your done, you will be ahead of all of the crowds for the Safari. The restaurant is just outside the safari line, so you will likely be the first ones on the ride! Last year, my family and I did this and we got to be family of the day on the safari and we got our own truck!

Early morning wake up means at Animal Kingdom for 7':45am... but totally worth it for the views of the animals just waking up!
